Out & About | Finders Keepers Market

Source: 1, 2 from Finders Keepers Facebook page, 3, 4 my own fuzzy phone photographs

Last weekend (Saturday 7th of December) I attended the Sydney Finders Keepers markets with my sister. If you aren't familiar with these Finders Keepers it is essentially a showcase of the latest designers I like to think of it as 'real life' Etsy. I wrote a post about the happenings of this charming event and because it is a little lengthy I have split this post!

I would love to share with you what I bought, however I wrapped my goodies and they are under our tree. However I will edit this post in a future date and include a collective haul until then I shall provide links to the stalls that I visited.

From knitted toadstool mushrooms, crochet cactus gardens and everything in-between are available to purchase. I can only imagine a fantastical world that everything was knitted together with yarn.

Miscellaneous laser-cut wooden, leather and acrylic brooch and pendant goodies that explore your imagination, from sic-fi robots, old school TV sets and flying squirrels. I fell in love with a wooden vintage typewriter brooch that you can customise with little enclosed notes and aren't these miniature plant necklaces the most peculiar things?!

If you are anything as obsessed with popular culture as I am you will love the entire range of greeting cards, badges, prints and phone skins using Amy's illustrations. This lovely lady was kind another to chat with me about Meryl Streep before I had to excuse myself and I never got to purchase anything as we were pressed for time! I have my eye on an adorable Leonardo Dicaprio print as well as a Hannah Horvath brooch that will be mine as soon as I have a few spare dollars.

These guys design the most awesome cushions, tea towels, totes and tees. Made to look like a collage of images, each design has unique themes like cactus, pineapples, cats, deep sea or flamingos. Super cute and very fun!

I have a serious addiction to candles. It is honestly a problem how many I own and how much I have spent over the years on my addiction. Alchemy is enabling me even further with delicious 100% natural soy wax scents in chemistry glassware (hello Breaking Bad fans). Stand out scents for me were Sandalwood, Vanilla & Orange (jaffa candy) and Lychee & Black Tea.

Think Beatrix Potter animals like cute bunnies, fluffy kittens, cute deers and friendly hedgehogs, you've got Kirbee. This lady is as lovely as the forest friends she creates in her illustrations, wooden brooches and other cute paper goods, you can follow her instagram account here. I will be buying more darling creatures off her in the future via her etsy account.

This is Kelly White's imaginative world of furry friends, very similar to Kirbee but entirely different. Her range varies from bobby pins to pendants and is a spectrum of adorable! I loved visiting her stall and stood in front of it in awe of its cuteness, I wish I had more money with me on the day because there is so much I love!
